Ã‚Â· Assist Sales manager in day-to-day operations, thereby enhancing guest satisfaction.
Ã‚Â· Assist and maintain an efficient administration system within the department.
Ã‚Â· Handling all the calls and room bookings for the reservations in the hotel.
Ã‚Â· Receive calls enquiring about room availability and rates.
Ã‚Â· Interacts extensively with the guest and travel agents regarding reservations and cancellations
Ã‚Â· To check on reservation activity list/ monthly charts.
Ã‚Â· Ensuring that the right rates are applied in system as per the contracted rates.
Ã‚Â· Filing the dockets, no shows, and complimentary bookings.
Ã‚Â· Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management or Graduate in any discipline from a reputed Institute /University
Ã‚Â· Thorough knowledge of all hotel operations
Ã‚Â· Thorough knowledge of Accommodation management and reservation systems
Ã‚Â· Basics of Accounting and Financial Management
Ã‚Â· Working knowledge of MS Office, Micros and Fidelio (or any other property/ point of sale systems)
Ã‚Â· Room Pricing & Selling techniques
Ã‚Â· Must be computer literate
Ã‚Â· Excellent communication skills
Ã‚Â· Should have a minimum of 6 months experience in front office / reservations in the hospitality industry.
