Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
· Assist Sales manager in day-to-day operations, thereby enhancing guest satisfaction. · Assist and maintain an efficient administration system within the department. · Handling all the calls and room bookings for the reservations in the hotel. · Receive calls enquiring about room availability and rates. · Interacts extensively with the guest and travel agents regarding reservations and cancellations · To check on reservation activity list/ monthly charts. · Ensuring that the right rates are applied in system as per the contracted rates. · Filing the dockets, no shows, and complimentary bookings.
Requirements
Candidate’s Profile
· Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management or Graduate in any discipline from a reputed Institute /University · Thorough knowledge of all hotel operations · Thorough knowledge of Accommodation management and reservation systems · Basics of Accounting and Financial Management · Working knowledge of MS Office, Micros and Fidelio (or any other property/ point of sale systems) · Room Pricing & Selling techniques · Must be computer literate · Excellent communication skills
Experience · Should have a minimum of 6 months experience in front office / reservations in the hospitality industry.
